Start off the morning with Coconut Oil Smoothie

A coconut oil smoothie is a great way to start off the morning. If you’re looking for more energy, stronger bones and healthier skin, then this smoothie will do the trick!

Coconut Fruit Smoothie

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

  • 1 cup coconut milk or regular whole milk
  • 1/2-1 whole banana
  • 1/4 cup frozen fruit: berries, peaches, etc.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ground flax seeds
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ground nuts: almonds, pecans, etc
  • 1 tablespoon dry coconut (flakes, etc.)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted

Place all ingredients except coconut oil in blender and blend. Slowly pour coconut oil into blender while blending. Blend until smooth and serve.

Strawberry Mango Smoothie

Creamy, sweet and satisfying, the eggs yolks and coconut oil in this deliciously nourishing treat add healthy fat and slow burning energy that keeps your mind and body going strong until lunch or through the mid-afternoon slump. With these two ingredients the more, the merrier, the more you add, the longer it will keep you going!

Servings: 2-3
Preparation Time: 3 minutes

  • 1 1/2 cups raw milk, kefir or coconut milk*
  • 4 pastured soy-free egg yolks
  • 1-2 tablespoons virgin coconut oil, melted
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup frozen mangos
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • dash sea salt

Blend first four ingredients until smooth, add remaining ingredients and blend until desired consistency. Serve with additional fruit if desired.

Coconut Veggie-Berry Smoothie

Preparation Time: 3 minutes

  • 2-4 tablespoons coconut milk*
  • 1/4 cup organic plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup organic milk or water
  • 2 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 scoop vanilla organic whey protein powder
  • 1/2 – 1 cup frozen berries

Mix all ingredients except berries together in blender until spinach is mixed in. Add frozen berries. Mix until smooth. If thicker consistency desired reduce milk/water or add 4 ice cubes and blend.
